Posse Forward represents Canada

 

Jeremy Wagner represents Canada at International Junior A tournament in Sweden.
 
Wagner was added to a select group of current Jr. A players from multiple teams across western Canada. Top Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC junior A league players were selected by coach Darren Rodney to compete at the summer tournament. Jeremy is the only player to come from a Jr. B organization.

 

Posse Forward Signs In Alberta

 

Princeton Posse center Kyle L'Arrivee has signed with the Drumheller Dragons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.  In his first season with the Posse, Kyle totalled 33 points which included 15 goals and 18 assists.  The skilled center is the 7th player from the 2006/2007 roster to sign at the Jr.A level.

Posse Forward/Defenseman signs Jr.A

 

Princeton Posse utility player Bryan Smith has signed with the Wooster Oilers Jr. A of the American East Hockey League.  Bryan played both forward and defense for the Posse.  Bryan, a native of Olmstead Township, Ohio will be playing in his home state.  Bryan is the 6th Posse player to sign at the Jr. A level or higher from the 2006/07 team.

Princeton Posse alumni Cody Devitt

 

Princeton Posse alumni Cody Devitt have signed his first professional hockey contract with the Rocky Mountain Rage of the Central Hockey League.  The Rocky Mountain Rage is based out of Broomfield Colorado, 13 miles south of Boulder.  The CHL has teams in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Ohio and Colorado.  Cody played for the Posse for all of the 2004/2005 season and split time between the Posse and the BCHL. During his 71 games with the Posse, Cody totaled 11 goals, 27 assists and 610 penalty minutes.  Cody played last season with the Yorkton Terriers of the SJHL where he won the Mr. Personality award.

Posse Captain, Mike Salter

2006/2007 Princeton Posse captain and 3 year veteran Mike Salter has signed with the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).  The 06/07 season was the most productive for Mike scoring 12 goals and adding 24 assists finishing 3rd in team scoring.  Over the three years Mike won many awards including Most Improved in the 2005/2006 season and finishing with the MVP and Fan Favourite last season.

 

Posse Assistant Captain, Jeremy Wagner

 2006/2007 Princeton Posse assistant captain and 2 year veteran Jeremy Wagner has signed with the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). 

In his 2 years with the Posse Jeremy scored 30 goals and added 35 assists.  Jeremy finished second in overall scoring last season.  Jeremy is a top quality person and his leadership will be hard to replace this season.

 

 

Posse Defenseman, Spencer Brooks

2006/2007 Princeton Posse defenseman Spencer Brooks has signed with the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).  Spencer played one full season with the Posse and makes the jump to Jr. A.  Spencer joins Posse alumni Mike Salter and Jeremy Wagner in Estevan. 

 

 

Posse Forward, Michael Bunting

2006/2007 Princeton forward Michael Bunting has signed with the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).  Mike was a physical presence for the Posse and re-joins his minor hockey program at the Jr. A level.  In his 26 games with the Posse Mike scored 4 goals and added 12 assists.

 

  

Posse Goaltender, Evan Karambelas

2006/2007 Princeton Posse goaltender Evan Karambelas has signed with the Powell River Kings of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League (BCHL).   Evan was affiliated with the Kings last season and started 1 game for the Jr. A team.  Evan was selected to the 06/07 KIJHL Prospects All-star team for his solid play and technical skill.

Posse alumni wins Royal Bank Cup

2005/2006 Best Defenseman, Connor McGarry has won the Royal Bank Cup with the Aurora Tigers.

Posse alumni wins awards

2005/06 defenseman Jordan Kerr was a co-recipient of the Most Improved Player for the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The Kings were division champions this season

Most Valuable Player

Seth Armitage was awarded Team MVP for the Utah Valley State College Wolverines

Top Player Award

David Wyman won the Leading Scorer and the Top Player Award with the Utah Valley State College Wolverines.

Most Improved

Former Posse D'man Jesse Tressierra was awarded Most Improved Player of the Langley Chiefs fo the BCHL.
